Q-Plus series provides much higher performances when compared to other Q-switched lasers on the market. After one and half years from its introduction, the Q-Plus C, also named Q-Plus T (Total – for the USA market now), is the first and most powerful Q-switched laser platform which combines all in one unit a Nd:Yag @ 1064 / 532 nm and a Ruby @ 694 nm: three wavelengths which, with the highest achievable fluencies, efficiently target all tattoo colors and pigmented lesions. Green, red, blue and black pigments can be removed effectively and fastly, thanks to the high power, the big spot size and the high repetition rate.
When comparing the Q-Plus C (T) of Quanta with the other relevant players present today on the market, i.e. Candela and Hoya Combio, there is no doubt that the Quanta laser is superior in its global specifications.
Thus, although recently Candela has improved the energy of its AlexTriVantage @ 755 nm from 700 to 800 mJ per pulse, and Hoya has introduced its Revlite which includes dyes, Quanta takes to the market the unique advantage of working with three very stable wavelengths, wider spot sizes, being its pulses highly energetic. Quanta, additionally, does not use dye lasers, which are characterized by lower fluencies and which usually deteriorate with time.
