A strategic agreement, as of January 10th 2005, has been signed between the Laser Source Division
of Quanta System SPA and the fine arts conservation division of El.En. SPA ( ).
Quanta System is active in the field of laser restoration since more than 10 years, with roughly 100 Qswitched lasers operating world-wide.
LIGHT FOR ART is active since several years in the application of laser technology to the historic-artistic
heritage, following the tradition of the EL.EN.Group which has always taken part into National and international research programs.
The new joint venture is already developing strong impact synergies, involving the R&D departments
of Quanta and El.En, the respective sales networks, and the expansion of the mutual product portfolio.
It has been finally reached a critic mass which now allows the El.En. Group to be the FIRST laser group
in the world, which develops and sells lasers for the cultural heritage conservation.
