Photofacial treatments are performed by IPLs and non-ablative lasers designed to combat the effects of sun and aging of the face, neck, chest and hands in a softer and gentler way. The light energy is delivered through the skin removing facial redness, erasing pigmented spots, reducing pore size and fine lines. This procedure takes few minutes and is associated with only mild discomfort and no down-time. After treatment, patients may note facial pinkness, which may be covered with makeup and can resume normal activities immediately after the procedure.
