The Er:YAG laser technology @ 2940 nm is the optimal solution for ablative FSR. This technique produces an ablation of the skin within micro columns with variable depth down to 400 µm. The repairing process of the treated skin will generate a new, more elastic dermal tissue (new collagen). The untreated healthy skin surrounding the micro-columns accelerates the reepithelization process, reducing the down-time to 2-4 days typically.
